Losing Sight

I have to keep my perspective. My pursuit is one of health and the challenges I face are mere bumps on my path in my world that is nothing short of glorious.

That is accurate thinking.

What is inaccurate is to get so caught up in overcoming the bumps either by going around or leveling that I forget which path I am on and which world that I live.

Keeping perspective is key.

I was reminded of how great my life is by a young pup at the gym tonight. He asked me if I competed and I confirmed by pointing to my picture on the wall: “That’s me.”

He revealed to me that his ultimate dream was to compete some day.

Ultimate dream. Ultimate dream. So easy it is to forget that I am living not only my ultimate dream, but many others as well.

The funny thing is that while I have been looking to him for inspiration thinking to myself, ‘Look at his ferver; I remember when I once felt like that,’ that he has been looking to me for inspiration as well. The dance.

I am doing exactly what I love. I am writing and I am lifting… and I am sharing my passion for both. Even though there are things that I want to improve about myself and challenges that I aim to overcome doesn’t change the reality of all that I have been given. I am blessed.

That is a not only accurate. That is a fact.
