Tip on female hormone testing

Ladies, just an FYI for those having their sex hormone tested as part of their hormone testing.

Make sure your doctor is testing BOTH estrogen and progesterone in the same panel at the same time. While each test is important in and of itself individually, you also want to see and follow the ratio of each of them as well because they are synergistic to each and work together.

When testing them together, looking at that ratio you’d want to test on 19-21 of a ‘normal’ 28 day cycle.
