Thoughts On Water Retention

“If you are the kind of person that retains water on a regular basis, your fat loss may be slower (or at least seem slower). Water retention can mask results, so be patient.

This tends to be a big problem for females. It can take a while for the body to flush the excess water and settle in to it’s new size.

This is especially frustrating for people who have lost and regained weight several times and lighter women with smaller calorie deficits, because the results by the numbers are smaller regardless. It may seem like nothing is working no matter what you do, but likely it is working. Time, patience, and compliance to your plan will show your hard work eventually.

There is so much more to the human body than A+B=C. This is one of the reasons that fat loss isn’t linear and so many quit out of frustration. It may not be fair, but it is just the way it is. One of those accept it, plan for it, and move on type of things.”
