You know another thing that annoys me? Fitness Internet Marketers who tell you there are SECRETS – you know the secrets they say you’re only going to be able to BUY this ONE time, at a discounted rate until 11:59pm, – to getting in great shape. There are hucksters everywhere now, all preying on beginners and people’s hope.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of good programs out there, designed by smart people, and I’m not against anyone making money trust me, but there’s a lot MORE crap (like that isagenix crap the other day – really, selling fiber for fat loss?). At least put out something legit and effective for crying out loud. The things that work are based on good programming, good nutrition – not voodoo supplementation. There are no short cuts, and in these good programs, if they’re good, there won’t be any marketing of short cuts either. It’ll be sound, logical, healthy, teach you lasting principles, and include … hard work. If it doesn’t feel like work, chances are it’s not working.

Where does this come from? I just got an email from a fitness marketer with a link to a newly discovered secret, only to be shared this one time, that will guarantee permanent fat loss. I couldn’t even get to the end of it – during parts he was raising his voice as if he was angry about not knowing it earlier and then actually whispering, because it’s a secret … I mean, really? Delete!

Fat loss – it’s simple, but it’s not easy. What’s that mean? HOW to lose fat is not complicated; it’s pretty simple in concept. We don’t have to guess how to achieve it at this point. The not-so-easy part is not a contradiction; it means that it’s going to take work, commitment, sacrifice, patience, more work, etc. Where is the secret in that? You want results – go get them then!

Don’t believe of the hype of people selling you on hope – whether it be some secret fat loss weapon, protein shakes that cause fat loss, cure kidney failure, grow you an inch taller, etc. Overpriced fiber supplements that transform your life, get you the girl/guy of your dreams, of course cause fat loss and build muscle (hello?), raise people from the dead or whatever other ludicrous claim.

If it sounds too good to be true – IT IS!!!!
