Personal Trainers, Treadmills, and Warm Ups

If you’re a personal trainer and you spend the first 10-15 minutes standing on the treadmill beside your client while they “warm up” please either STOP wasting their money, or charge them only for 45 minutes.

If you want them doing 10-15 minutes on the treadmill before you start training them (entirely unnecessary by the way as they’d be better served by a more specific dynamic warm up) then tell them to come 10-15 minutes BEFORE their appointment with you. At least then they’re getting what they pay for – an hour of TRAINING, not 45 minutes of training and 15 minutes of talking on the treadmill.
