Metabolic Workouts – NOT The Key To Fat Loss

Many people with these days make a huge deal out of “metabolic workouts” as a major key to successful fat loss. While these can be fun (if you’re a masochist) and productive workouts which are often used as a ‘cardio replacement’, metabolic workouts are still only an ‘adjunct therapy’ at best when it comes to fat loss. Metabolic workouts are very effective of course at improving cardiovascular conditioning, getting you in ‘fit’, etc., regardless of diet.

Yes, LBC uses metabolic workouts too, but they are not the key to fat loss, just like cardio isn’t.

The real emphasis must always be placed on nutritional compliance and long-term compliance consistency to your plan. Exercise plays a very, very secondary role in weight loss; so secondary it might as well be called 5th.

You can’t out-train your diet.
