Keep On Keeping On

The only way one can ever succeed is by holding on, to keep on keeping on. Too many people quit right before they’re about to turn the corner; they give up just a little bit too soon.

A lot of people start well. Not nearly as many end well. Good things don’t come quickly; good things come over time. Being tenacious is having the strength to hold on when everything inside you is telling you to let go.

Think about it; how many times have you said to yourself, “This is just not happening fast enough for me. Why even bother? Might as well just eat whatever I want.”

But really, would progress EVER be fast enough for you? If it was ‘fast’ (however that might be defined), it still would not be fast ENOUGH. But what does quitting on a commitment you made to yourself get you? What does stopping? THAT sure won’t result in any progress; in fact, it takes you further away from what you’re frustrated isn’t happening fast enough. Illogical isn’t it? We can all recognize that I’m sure.

So keep on keeping on. Don’t just start well, commit to ending well. All progress is good progress and every little bit is moving you in the direction you want to be going in
