It’s good to have an end journey; but it’s the journey that matters

We’re all on a journey to improve upon our physique. However, the way to get there is different for everyone.

Your journey may be long. You may have to climb up hills, deal with bumps/obstacles and even roadblocks along the way. You may also have to change directions as the road you’re headed down may not be the best way to travel any more (or even at all). Therefore, you may have to slow down or even stop at times to find a new path, but that’s ok because it’s not a race.

With the above in mind, you may find your journey to be more challenging than it is for others, but that’s what makes it so special. It’s your journey. So embrace it because you will learn a lot while on your journey.

Without question you’ll learn a lot about how your body responds to different diet/training strategies, but you’ll also learn how to deal with adversity along the way. It’s these challenges, which will make you more resilient and help you move forward. Essentially, the struggles you face now, will strengthen you for tomorrow.

That being said, just a word to the wise tho, while we all have an idea of where we want to take our physique, you’re better off mapping out your course before you begin (i.e., having a diet/training strategy in place to adjust and work away from). As well, don’t be afraid (or even too proud) to ask for directions (i.e. help) on your journey.

Finally, don’t give up. You may have a long road to travel filled with challenges, but if you keep going, you’ll eventually get there as long as you don’t give up.
