“Good Foods” Versus “Bad Foods”

July 31st, 2013 by

I just went to the store and ran into a friend who shared with me than he’d just come from the funeral of an acquaintance from high school that had died last week. When I realized who this person was the shock really hit me hard.

At age 32 he suffered a spontaneous stroke and passed away quickly afterwards. His family is devastated and my heart was crushed.

Though we tend to engage often in controversial, sarcastic, and even heated debates on this page sometimes, I feel that need to let you know that our goal really is to help you succeed at living a healthy, fit, and happy life.

And one reason we’re so emphatic about breaking the chains of dietary restriction on people is because you never know when your last day might be.

I would personally hate to know that you left this earth having not shared a birthday cake with your child, spouse, or loved one because of some preconceived notion of what constitutes a “good” or “bad” food.

I hope today that this serves as a reminder of why we really need balance in our lives. Because you never know when your time will be up.
