Drop the Ego, Lift for Tension
Two gym observations. If you get one rep on an exercise WITH the help of a spotter, logic would suggest it’s silly to add more and more weight each successive set. You’ve already got too much weight on the bar. Poor spotter was power upright rowing while this clown was incline benching … But was saying, “All you! All you!”
Second one, same guy. If you have to pelvic thrust the ceiling to the point your only points of contact are your head and your feet in order to move the weight you might just be going to heavy.
Is it any wonder the large majority of people who lift with their egos don’t look like they lift?
It’s all about TENSION not simply moving weight from A to B by any means necessary.
Check the egos. The only one impressed is yourself.
