Do your actions reflect what you are truly thankful for?

Thanksgiving always leads to the question of what we’re thankful for, but I think that is really the easiest question to ask and answer.

However, I would say that a more important question is whether our actions reflect that we are truly thankful for these things.

Are you thankful for your spouse? If so, have you been making them feel this way?

Are you thankful for your children? If so, do you find yourself paying attention to your phone when you should be paying attention to them?

Are you thankful for your job? Does your job performance reflect that?

Are you thankful for your health? If so, are your efforts to maintain it through exercise and nutrition indicative of that?

And if your actions do not reflect that you are truly thankful for these things, what can you do to change that?

Personally, all of these questions have challenged me to not only feel thankful, but work hard to make my actions reflect that.

I would challenge you to do the same.
