Dieting Deprivation & Victim vs Victor

December 12th, 2012 by

If you CHOOSE to think you’re deprived you’re definitely going to feel you’re deprived.

Mindset makes all the difference.

Contrast the mindset of “I can’t have this food” or “I am not allowed to have this food” vs “I can have whatever food I want; however I am CHOOSING not to because the commitment I’ve made to myself is more important to me.”

In former, you play victim. In the latter, you pay victor.

A coach’s responsibility is to provide you with a road map to success; a plan that works. Your responsibility is the execution of that plan; your fat-loss behaviours. (If you don’t have a coach, well, you’re obviously responsible for both sides of that coin.)

The bottom line is that you are in charge. You can eat whatever you want to eat. No one is stopping you. You are in charge. However, what I always say after saying that is that the condition is that you must also then be accepting/ok with the outcome/results/consequences of those choices. If you’re ok with them? Hey. you’re good to go. If you’re NOT ok with them, well, then you need adjust your choices.

Are you a victim or a victor?
