Conquering the Good Food/Bad Food Mindset

October 24th, 2013 by

Restricting specific foods and food categories makes it become very easy to cross your diet boundary and thus massively overeat.

The tighter your diet boundaries are, the worse the binge will be once you cross that boundary.

You need to get rid of the good food vs bad food mindset, the carbs are ‘bad’ way of thinking as well; food is not good or bad, just like it’s not clean or dirty – it’s just food.
This isn’t to say that you should not ‘diet’ if you want to lose fat, because this doesn’t change the fact that a caloric deficit is required for fat loss. BUT this comes back to one of those not-so-obvious fat-loss mistakes I’ve written about before – quality over quantity, when in reality, fat-loss success is technically rooted in quantity first, quality second.
