Complete What You Started!

March 11th, 2013 by

You need to complete what you started. Finishing is what winners do. It’s not important how well you started the race, but how well you completed it … assuming you do of course.

Good intentions may have caused you to get going but it takes commitment to keep going.

Many times we try to look at the other lanes to see what people around us are doing. Some are compromising, giving up, bending the rules. Others are racing ahead, success driving them towards their finish line.

Don’t worry about what other people are doing or how they’re doing. Focus on running your own race and touching your own finish line.

You have to accept that you’re in it for the long haul. There will be no quick fixes or short cuts to success, whether in your fitness goals or in any life goals really.

Your body will probably fight you at times, you’ll be tempted to give up here and there. This is normal. We all deal with this from time to time. Suggestion? Don’t focus on the whole journey; focus on completing just one step at a time.
