Breakfast Made Simple

A frequent question I get from clients who train first thing in the morning is how to condense meal #1 so that it can be eaten quickly before training. Of course there are many ways to get around that: get up earlier, prep breakfast the night before, or have protein pancakes ready to go first thing in the morning. Another option would be to substitute foods that would allow you to blend a shake you can take with you on the go. This is what I like to make when I’m in a hurry – coffee and breakfast in one!

Trutein (chocolate peanut butter cup)
1 cup of coffee (chocolate peppermint flavor is what I use, also using cold coffee would be ideal)
1-2 packet of Stevia
dark chocolate peanut butter
2 cups of ice

If you have a carb source this meal you could sub oatmeal or something that would be easy to blend.
