Training Volume
Training volume isn’t about doing as much as you can do or tolerate. When in doubt doing less is likely to prove superior to doing more.
So many go into the gym and do set after set after set, etc., thinking the more volume they do, the better. No real rhyme or reason behind it. This isn’t bodybuilding or strength training, it’s endurance training.
The effectiveness of your program is not based on how much you did, or how sore you get; it’s based on outcome, results – how much actual change occurred as a result.
Stimulate, don’t annihilate!
