Stress And Cheating
Many people, when excus … er, I mean ‘explaining’ cheating on a diet fall back to using stress as their reason. I guess that begs the question, when does it end? Stress in its various shapes and forms is a life constant; it’s not going to ever go away. We all have to deal with it at times in our lives.
So similar to cravings and hunger when we say, expect it, accept it, and manage it, the same applies to stress. Similar to when we say, cravings, you rule them or they rule you. Stress? You need to control your response to it, or it will control you.
But it is NOT a valid justification for bucking a commitment you’ve made to yourself. Does it happen? Sure. To all of us at times? Again, sure. But don’t lull yourself into a state of mindnumbing acceptance of this ‘justification’. At least not if you’re claiming commitment.
Expect more and be better!
