100 Calorie Cupcakes!!
Yesterday my daughter had her fall party and as always, she requested that I make my ‘Diet Soda Cupcakes’, so I thought I would video the process since people try to over complicate the simple instructions.
- Take a cake mix and dump it in a bowl
- Add one can (12 oz) of diet soda
- Mix as directed
- Bake as directed
Easy enough right? It’s so simple that people are wanting to over complicate by adding more ingredients.
I decided to use a new product yesterday that I am very excited about. Betty Crocker’s Home Style Fat-Free Fluffy White Frosting Mix. Here is my review:
Name of Item: Betty Crocker’s Home Style Fat-Free Fluffy White Frosting Mix
Description: This is a powder mix that you add hot water and beat. This will frost at least 48 cupcakes.
Cost: $1.00-$2.00
Likes: Convenient with only needing to add water and mix. Nice to have fat-free frosting that tastes creamier than a powdered sugar-type recipe.
Dislikes: It’s definitely not like a buttercream icing. But heck, for less than 20 calories per tablespoon, it is well worth it.
Would you recommend?: Yes!
