Rather than asking for a change in your program, you may need to focus on optimizing your compliance and consistency

Sometimes the role of a coach is to change your program when it isn’t working.

But many times a coach’s job is simply to know when you actually DON’T need to change your program and to keep you going on the path you’re on when you’re feeling discouraged. In my experience, people change their program far too often despite already achieving reasonable results.

More often than not, if you’re making progress you just need to continue doing what you’re doing and be PATIENT with the results. Regardless of how fast you’re going, it will never feel fast enough.

Of course, if you want it to go faster you probably don’t need to change your program. Rather you need to optimize your COMPLIANCE and CONSISTENCY…especially with your nutrition.

Taking “weekends off”, having BLTs (bites, licks, and tastes) frequently, and simply getting caught unprepared too often can slow your progress. But that doesn’t mean the program needs changing. It means that your ACTIONS need changing.

If you’re moving forward and feeling like it is moving slowly remember that ALL progress is good progress. Just keep going.
