When fitness is a lifestyle

Good Afternoon from Destin, Florida! Long drive down but our family has arrived and we’re ready to kick back and enjoy! We’ve been coming down for 12 yrs now.. It’s so beautiful- white sandy beaches and emerald green water. Can you see it behind me. This is our favorite place to be!! <3

How do I enjoy a vacation break? This is a lifestyle so a few times (outside of a goal deadline) it’s ok to step aside and enjoy. I don’t typically throw my diet out the window but I typically do choose to stay with my meal plan/template while throwing in a few treats here and there to enjoy if I chose to. We’ve hit the market, stock up on lots of food. I brought my protein powders for protein ice cream and waffles and my DIL brought her waffle iron. It took full restraint to not bring my Blendtec Blender and my Instant Pot in the trunk LOL, I love my comforts!

Don’t be afraid to enjoy a little during a special time. A client wrote in to say how the LBC lifestyle had stuck with her. She’d gone away on a short weekend away last weekend, prepped and took food with her but this week, she is stepping away on vacation. Note the mindset-

“I really appreciate all you and lean bodies have done for me. I am leaving for vacation tomorrow the fittest I have been in years. I am not too worried about going off plan for a week as I know everything will be here for me when I get back.”

And it will!
