Wow, to see this whole weekend come together in such an incredible way leaves me sort of speechless…but probably not for the reasons you may think. I’m still trying to wind down after all of the excitement.

My Pro debut, the never ending support and friendship of Erik and Amy, my Mom and my best friend Amanda, it all meant the world to me.

Not to mention the way that the Lean Bodies community and all of our Facebook friends and followers rallied behind me in FULL, non-stop, cheerleader mode on every post and picture, every update. I cannot tell you what that meant to us. We could feel the love!

– Did I win? No…
– Do I feel that I should’ve won 1st place? No…
– Am I happy with the physique that I presented for this show? 100%.
– Would I like to win? Of course! Who doesn’t like winning? It’s a competition, let’s be honest lol. But, my personal goal for my first Pro show was to be in the Top 10. I placed 7th and am SO HAPPY with that! Goal met.

I was on stage with some absolutely amaaaazing and really sweet women with incredible physiques. I was truly honored to compete with them and share the stage with some of the best. It was surreal.

But, the best part of this experience really had nothing to do with me placing well, it didn’t have anything to do with my body, my beautiful suit, shiny jewelry or rockin’ spray tan lol. It actually didn’t have anything to do with being ON stage at all. It was about the PROCESS of getting there.

The undying support over the past few years from my coach Erik, through my prep when I turned Pro, a 17 month build, this contest prep and then the minute to minute guidance to help me bring my best for this show the right way, without voodoo – the sense of family and total loyalty with this team – totally priceless.

Then, add in the messages, texts, emails and calls from my LBC and CWT teammates literally every day for weeks and weeks, reinforcing that they believed in me…speechless.

I saw a goal that I wanted to achieve, committed to it, saw it all the way through, and was able to feel everyone standing behind me cheering me on. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.

Have a happy Sunday! I’m off to eat some carrot cake and then get back on plan so that I can bring my best to my next show in a couple of weeks!!
