Stuffed Chicken Breast

March 15th, 2017 by

I’d normally say “I decided to try something a little different for tonight’s meal”, but after last week, I think my family is expecting something a little different each night. So it’s not much of a decision any more. Lol. So for tonight, I made stuffed chicken breast. To make it, all you need is the following:

110g chicken breast (raw)
2 slices of provolone
1 slice of Loblaws stone-roasted ham
4 spears of asparagus
salt
pepper
garlic powder
paprika

First, you have to slice the chicken breast in half and add a few dashes of salt and pepper. Then roll the provolone and ham around the asparagus and place inside the chicken breast. Then top with paprika and garlic powder and cook for 35 minutes at 350F. Easy peasy.

I added 150g of brown rice and a cup of broccoli to the meal, which gave me about 41g of protein, 37g of carbs and 15g of fat for around 450 k/cal. Obviously, you can play around with the ingredients to better suit your calorie/macronutrient requirements, but it does taste good. So it’s well worth the effort. ;-)

Enjoy!
