The Europa
So the Europa has come and gone. Allison Ethier wound up in 6th place (missing 5th by one point), coming off her 5th place finish in New York a couple weeks ago. This is solid as her first two pro shows, she didn't place well, finishing near the end of the pack.
Sandi Stuart unfortunately didn't get the look that I think she should have gotten, and subsequently placed lower than hoped for or expected. I think she should have placed a handful of spots of higher. Supposedly this show is notorious for bad lighting and subsequently, I've yet to see any really good pictures.
However, here's a couple pictures of Sandi from Friday morning (day of the show) that are representative of what she really looked like. In the end, we're both happy with this as it represents improvement on a previous personal best condition/physique. You can't really control the judge's opinion, just what you bring to the table.
