Congratulations - LBC Figure Win

Just a quick update to offer congratulations to LBC Figure Competitor client, Lisa Anderson on her Short Class win (and 2nd place in Masters) at this past weekend's Hub City Classic, in Jackson, TN. This contest was actually Lisa's warm up show; not bad for a warm up.

Are You Training For A Weight ... or a Look?

So one of the changes I've made in how clients submit biweekly progress reports is to have them fill in all the commentary BEFORE taking any measurements or checking bodyweight. I've found, and I'm sure this'll come as no surprise, that the numbers dramatically affect the subjective commentary of progress, so I figured I'd try to remove that influence by suggesting one making their comments on perceived progress and what not, prior to any numerical assessments.

LBC Natural Bodybuilder Testimonial

In September 2009 I hired Erik Ledin at Lean Bodies Consulting to  help me prepare for my very first natural bodybuilding competition in April 2010. This gave me 7 ½ months to get my body from 167 lbs and not very well defined to being totally ripped. 2010 IFBB Pittsburgh Pro - Weekend Recap

So I'm back at it this week after a weekend away at the 2010 Pittsburgh Pro/Am. What a big show this is! I drove down on Friday, making it in 4 ½ hours which was a good start – beating the expected time by 30 minutes. I was staying with Melody (Clere) and her husband Ron so I went straight to their hotel to get settled.

As an aside, Pittsburgh sure has some serious hills, and in residential areas at that. It's the weirdest thing to see how steep these hills are.
