A great blog update from IFBB Fitness Pro Sandi Stuart ...

Beyond Obsession: A Pro's story
There has been a lot of talk on the message boards lately about metabolic
damage, and specifically, who is to blame for the perpetuation of
contest-dieting-gone-wrong. People finger-point at trainers and gurus, but
I say, why not rest the blame on the ultimate decision-maker: the
individual who is competing.
I had an epiphany of sorts a while back. Have you ever been in a
fabulous, swanky, chi-chi nightclub when it closes down, and they turn the
lights on to kick you out? And what looked glamorous and filled with

I'M NOT A SUPERHERO (and other middle-of-the-night
ramblings)
I had to make a difficult decision today. As much as
I wanted to compete in NY, I don't think it's a good idea. COULD I do it?

you should be very, very afraid LOL) ... but that particular cardio is so
tough that I always...

Pro Allison Ethier, and thought I'd post up to show everyone where she
is.
We still have the fun stuff to come - all the peaking fun. This time we're
probably going to do something a little different in an effort to come in a
bit fuller. So less focus on any depleting and more focus on food.
One thing you should notice if you've been a follower of Allison's over
the years is the marked improvement in her back and shoulders. This has
been an area of focus for Allison's and so they've been hit hard,
specialized on, etc. It's nice to see the fruits of...
