Cranberries!!

I've been on a cranberry kick these past couple of months. Lucky me, I stocked up on fresh cranberries this past November and froze them ;) If you weren't so 'lucky' to remember to do so, you can check places like Whole Foods, Kroger, and some of the other upscale grocery stores for fresh cranberries. You get a lot of 'bang' for your 'buck'. In dieting terms, you get a lot of volume without it costing you a lot in terms of carbs. It's All In How You Cook It

Saw Dust??? Can you believe my husband had the nerve to tell me my banana cookie was as dry as saw dust? I don't take it personal since I know I tend to like my things more on the dry side. I use to love these things post-workout (PWO)!! One reason being that I can have 2 of them and its only 9 carbs! HAHA! So I dropped them in my cart along with my Turtle Chex Bars, Polaners sugar-free strawberry spread, 100 calorie Nutter Butter Crisps, and headed for the register. Can you tell PWO is one of my favorite meals of the day? :D I'm always trying to find more ways to have more volume in my meals. So for this PWO I had 2 Wasa crackers with PB2 (powdered peanut... read more 1 comments
